When asked by ABC News’ Rachel Scott if he would accept a short term deal that would allow Iran and Oman, a key American ally in the Middle East, to control the Strait of Hormuz, President Trump said no.
“It’s international waters. Nobody is going to control it … And Oman will behave just like everyone else or we’ll have to blow them up,” Trump said during a Cabinet meeting.
