Egypt will host talks with Israeli and Hamas representatives on Monday to build on the ceasefire “momentum” produced by U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan, according to a statement posted to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry’s official Facebook account on Saturday.
It is not yet clear where in Egypt the talks will be held. High-level representatives have been travelling to the country in recent days, including Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
