Video shared by police in Michigan shows officers deploying a grappler device to bring to an end their pursuit of a suspected stolen car on I-96.
After the driver made multiple attempts to break free by reversing and accelerating, the vehicle’s rear axle was ripped off – permanently disabling the vehicle.
Three people were arrested. No injuries were reported.
