Worldwide Container Woes Now Hitting German Banks

Shipping crisis puts German banks under pressure … The flailing container shipping industry is a massive problem for state banks, particularly in northern Germany. Some fear that skyrocketing risk provisions may cost taxpayers billions of euros.
